BIMNYC utilizes its 3D Laser Scanning services to perform Roof Leveling Analysis services. After scanning a roof surface, BIMNYC’s Engineers generate a heatmap of the target areas demonstrating the elevation variations. Also, a topographic representation of the roof surface can be generated. Upon our clients’ request, BIMNYC can also generate a section grid of the roof, showing the elevation variation of the highest point of the roof versus the area of each section. This analysis is beneficial for both Designers and Contractors to estimate the amount of materials to level the roof, as well as considering the roof leveling efforts and cost during the design phase of the renovation projects. Upon our client’s request, the analysis can be signed and sealed by a licensed professional engineer (PE).
